This group of sailboats was heading out from the shores of Lake Erie on the USA side to the shores of Lake Erie on the Canadian side. The regatta was just beginning, waiting for the wind to pick up and take them sailing.

Photography is a wonderful new paintbrush in my old artist's toolbox. All my life I've been drawing and painting and arranging objects without really knowing why.
